Dale-Earnhardt-Jr-Jr at Coachella

This Thursday’s Sonic Lunch means chowing down with an iSPY favorite and current featured band, duo Dale Earnhardt Jr. Jr.. Straight out of the D, Josh Epstein and Daniel Zott are producing smooth combinations of electronic sound and alternative rock, taking them to national audiences of NPR, Rolling Stone, Spin, Esquire and Conan O’Brien.  Their album recession-appropriately titled “It’s A Corporate World” proves the pair’s ability in eclectic musical stylings from funky ‘Simple Girl’ and indie-pop ‘Vocal Chords’, to paying homage to their roots in the promising cult-classic ‘We Almost Lost Detroit’. Thursday the lunch hour scene is at Liberty Plaza with :babo: a market by Sava serving up fresh locally-produced food, drinks from Ugly Mug Cafe, and free ear candy provided by Bank of Ann Arbor.
