Aaron Tan opens St. Andrew’s 2012-2013 “Music for Meditation” concert series with an evening of solo piano music that explores the instrument’s quieter and “subtly intense” sides. Originally from Toronto, Canada, Aaron is a recent Ph.D. graduate of the University of Michigan, and is also an active concert organist and church musician. The concert is immediately followed by a brief 20-minute service of Compline.
For those who cannot attend in person, a live streaming video broadcast will be available for viewing and listening at Mr. Tan’s personal website – aarontan.org – on the concert night.
