What a perfect day for live music in downtown Ann Arbor! Luke Winslow-King had attendees at today’s Sonic Lunch dancing in the sun. Not too hot, with a nice, cool breeze flowing through Liberty Plaza made for a rather enjoyable afternoon. The bluesy-jazzy feel of his music seemed to be perfect for the mood and atmosphere. Among many highlights of the afternoon was Ann Arbor’s own and Grammy Award winning, Peter “Madcat” Ruth, joining Luke on stage during an early part of his set. It was fantastic and really got things moving for the rest of the show.

Sonic Lunch takes a break for, believe or not, NEXT WEEK’S Ann Arbor Art Fair and returns July 25 with Brett Dennen and one of our favorite up and coming Ann Arbor artists, Dan Henig.
