Everything you need to know about today’s Sonic Lunch performance.

Dale Earnhardt Jr. Jr. returns to Bank of Ann Arbor’s Sonic Lunch tomorrow! Since their Sonic Lunch performance last summer DEJJ has released a second full-length album Patterns (2013), featuring the track “If You Didn’t See Me…(you weren’t on the dance floor)”. In the past two years the electro-indie pop band has been featured on the cover of iSPY Magazine, and has received recognition from the likes of Rolling Stone, NPR, Pitchfork, and SPIN. This month DEJJ performed live on Conan for a second time in two years.

Last June songs like “Simple Girl” and cult-anthem “We Almost Lost Detroit” drew a huge crowd to Liberty Plaza for a Sonic Lunch sing-along-dance party, and tomorrow will be no different, rain or shine. The music starts at noon tomorrow in downtown Ann Arbor’s Liberty Plaza or The Ark (rained-out location). Dale Earnhardt Jr. Jr. will perform songs from Patterns (2013) and It’s A Corporate World (2012), while Sidetrack Bar & Grill serves lunch. And all the dancing? That’s coming from YOU.

“Dale Earnhardt Jr. Jr. is the best thing to come out of Detroit since Jack White and the Lincoln Futura.” – Conan O’Brien

*Worried about the rain? If the rain doesn’t clear, the show will be moved to The Ark, where the first 400 people will get in. Stay tuned to Sonic Lunch on twitter for updates.
