Sonic Lunch wraps its fifth season of free summer concerts with a live performance by Theo Katzman this Thursday at noon. At 25,
New York City-bred musician Theo Katzman is all but a household name in the Ann Arbor area. As a student at the University of Michigan Music School he was a member of electro-pop collaboration, My Dear Disco (later, Ella Riot). Since then the multi-instumentalist has been a force of talent in the local music community – mentoring and teaching dozens of music students. In 2011 Theo Katzman was featured on the cover of iSPY and in the following months he released his debut album Romance Without Finance. Although Theo had recently moved back to Brooklyn, the Romance Without Finance album release show was held at The Ark in downtown Ann Arbor.
Sonic Lunch will be served with food by Frita Batidos and Sweetwaters beverages in downtown Ann Arbor’s Liberty Plaza.
Remember to give a toast to the Bank of Ann Arbor for five summers of free music and for always supporting local community. Cheers!
